If I could gather my style into a ball and shoot it out of a straw like a spit wad, it would goop on the wall as my work. My paintings are the actuality of how I feel about my style. I love bold, bright colors and for things to be a bit weird. I think of art as alive, an entire miniature galaxy existing within the realm of the space it takes up. My most recent works are an eclectic narrative—not a strung together story in a single line, but neighboring planets orbiting one idea: fashion. My work is usually large scale so as to let the viewer exist in each world. I’m interested in imposing a world on the viewer that is representative of fashion’s fun, freeing, strange, complex world.
